I feel like Dan Winters has inspired me to trying to get more emotion out of my photos when taking them. I have tried to get more out of my subject than just their physical features. He's also influenced me to try different lighting in my photos to try to light up the subjects face. I've also tried to experiment with different colors in my work. He's influenced me to use more contrast and make my subject brighter and more vivid.

6. Compare and Contrast
I think my photos had many of the same qualities as Dan Winters and really captured his style. My first photo contain many of the same elements as the Dan Winters photo, I just had a slightly different environment. In the second photo I captured a similar emotion but I think the Dan winters photo incorporated more of the background while the subject occupied most of the space in my photo. In my third photo I used the same expression and pose and I used masks to make only the subject in color. Overall my photos captured the same expressions but the subject matter was different
7. Personal Artist Statement.
My photos show mood and emotion in my family. I like the way my photos turned out because they show emotion just like I wanted them to. I used masks and black and white in my photos both techniques I learned during the trimester. I also used emphasis to make the subjects the visual center of the photo. Overall I think my photos turned out well and definitely show influence from Dan Winters.
