These are photos of the field near the Pioneer Woods. I thought they had a calm feel to them. I tried to incorporate the paths into these photos. I took them because I liked the way the paths carried your eye through the image. I tried to use a lot of depth in these images.
These are images of a large tree near the Pioneer Woods. I took these photos because I liked the structure of the tree and how the branches expanded in different directions. I tried to zoom in on certain branches when taking the photos. I put the branch closer to the camera and had the tree in the backgrounded. I used a lot of emphasis when taking these.
These photos are of a pond near the Pioneer Woods. The pond was completely frozen over and covered in snow. I took these to try to capture the pond as well as trees in the background. I matched the first image with a red painting and I think i really enhanced the color. I like the simplicity to these photos.
I took these photos in the pioneer woods and I really like how they turned out. I took these photos because I liked all the vertical trees in them. I thought having them looked really good and created pattern. The first photo turned out really good when after using the painting method. For the second photo I tilted my camera up and took photos looking up at the trees.
I took these photos inside the Pioneer Woods. I took them because I liked the way the branches of the trees arched over the pathway and created a tunnel. I liked how everything was covered in snow. I thought it enhanced it and gave it detail. For the second photo I made the main focus a tree that had fallen across the path because I thought it added something to the photo.
